How x402 V2 works

  1. User visits: the browser requests a protected page.
  2. Server responds with 402 + payment instructions: the site states payment is required and includes the checkout details.
  3. Payment/Session: the user pays once via wallet, or reuses an existing session (V2 feature).
  4. Access unlocks: successful payment/session verification unlocks the content automatically.

V2 adds session reuse: once identified via wallet, subsequent requests can skip re-payment for the same session.
